In this interview, Enuma Okoro shares how her journey to writing and creative work was shaped by paying attention and finding beauty in the act of creation.  She has found that the path towards God often looks different from what we’re told and is constantly unfolding.

Enuma Okoro is a Nigerian-American speaker and writer. She is an award-winning author of Silence and Other Surprising Invitations of Advent (Upper Room, 2012), and Reluctant Pilgrim: A Moody, Somewhat Self-Indulgent Introvert’s Search for Spiritual Community (Fresh Air Books, 2010) . In 2014, Okoro relocated to Nigeria where she continues to write on identity and culture, and is currently working on her first novel.
