Jesus demonstrated love and inclusivity unconventional to his disciples and society. Neichelle Guidry encourages Christians to follow Jesus’s example to break down the societal norms of love when so often social status, political differences, and personal haughtiness get in the way.
Neichelle Guidry is the founder of shepreaches solutions, a consulting and coaching agency that specializes in preaching coaching to women in ministry and positioning congregations to acquire and nurture millennial clergy talent. She is also the creator of shepreaches, a virtual community and professional development organization that uplifts African-American millennial women in ministry through theological reflection, fellowship, and liturgical curation. For six years, she served as the Associate Pastor to Young Adults and the Liaison to Worship and Arts Ministries at Trinity United Church of Christ on the south side of Chicago. She is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University and Yale Divinity School. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy from of Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL, where her research focused on rape culture and preaching. She was listed as one of “12 New Faces of Black Leadership” in TIME Magazine (January 2015) and featured in the New York Times (April 3, 2015). She is the author of Curating a World: Sermonic Words from a Young Woman Who Preaches. Neichelle is an Inaugural Fellow and served as the 2016 Preacher and Pastor-in-Residence of the Black Theology and Leadership Institute at Princeton Theological Seminary.
